Based in Surrey, UK, but with a worldwide client portfolio, our client is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for selling monthly advertisements as well as event space for our annual international conference series to our industrial advertiser base.
Summary of Sales Manager responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day sales process for generating sales across their client portfolio
- Manage and retain existing client accounts while developing new business
- Negotiate deals and maximise revenues from sales
- Interact daily with new and existing accounts via phone, video calls and face-to-face meetings
- Travel internationally to visit clients and build relationships
- Meet monthly publishing deadlines and revenue targets
- Promote the company brand at every opportunity
Person Specification:
- Previous B2B sales experience is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in conducting industry research / analysis and ability to interpret relevant information
