We’re expanding our security team for one of the UK’s most anticipated music festivals – the Isle of Wight Festival 2025. Ferry travel codes will be issued free of charge, and staff will arrive on Thursday 19th June before starting work on 20th, 21st, and 22nd June 2025. Role Summary As an SIA Licensed Event Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for helping maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for all festival attendees, artists, and crew. Key Responsibilities * Provide a professional and visible security presence * Monitor crowds and respond to incidents * Control access to restricted zones and secure perimeters * Follow emergency protocols as needed * Deliver excellent customer service What We’re Looking For * Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence * Festival/event security experience preferred but not essential * Strong communication, situational awareness, and teamwork skills * Must be aged 18+ and eligible to work in the UK * Must be available for all shift dates listed New to the security industry? No problem – we welcome applications from newly licensed officers eager to gain experience. MANDATORY CAMPING REQUIREMENT * All staff must camp on-site – no exceptions * Sleeping in vehicles or commuting is not allowed * Bring your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, roll mat, personal essentials) * On-site facilities include showers and power points for charging devices MEALS & FOOD PLANNING * Two hot meals provided daily – breakfast and dinner * Bring your own snacks and provisions for lunch and night shifts TRANSPORTATION * Ferry codes will be issued for free travel to the island * You must arrange your own transport to the ferry terminal * Travel instructions and staging locations will be provided in advance ELIGIBILITY & VISA INFORMATION You must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible to work on a self-employed basis. Student visas and some overseas visas restrict self-employment – please check before applying. We can help with registering as self-employed if needed. COMPLIANCE & RECRUITMENT PROCESS We follow BS7858:2019 vetting standards, including identity, right-to-work, and criminal record checks.
