This is a 3-day-per-week onsite Occupational Health Advisor role supporting a major automotive manufacturing client within a large-scale production site in the Chichester, West Sussex area. The role sits within a well-established onsite occupational health service supporting a prestige automotive environment. Working pattern is flexible, with availability across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (3 days per week onsite).

The core focus of the role is case management, handling up to approximately 6 cases per day. Alongside this, you will attend HR and Health & Safety meetings, complete workplace assessments, and act as the primary onsite occupational health point of contact for the business.

A key part of the role involves being visible and proactive on the shop floor, developing a strong understanding of operational activity and building effective working relationships across the site. There is a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and becoming embedded within the wider business to support early intervention and effective absence management.

Additional responsibilities include supporting flu immunisation clinics and contributing to wider health initiatives onsite. The onsite team includes an occupational health technician present four days per week, along with access to an external physiotherapy provider.

This is a varied and hands-on role with a strong focus on proactive client relationship building, operational understanding, and delivering high-quality occupational health support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Who Are We Looking For?

You will need to be a Registered General Nurse with previous experience as an Occupational Health Advisor. Current NMC Registration. You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload.
