Role Summary

Reporting to the BI Product Owner, the BI Product Coordinator ensures the smooth delivery of the Information Management product roadmap. Working with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and managing the agile delivery process.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, documentation, and tracking of product development.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, concise backlog items with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Identify and help remove blockers by coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Liaise between internal business units and development teams to gather and communicate requirements, with support from the BI Product Owner, System Analyst, and Lead Developer.
  • Manage and prioritise minor enhancement requests throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance activities, including logging and reporting bugs or issues.
  • Collecting user feedback post release to inform potential future improvements.
  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Prepare regular status updates and maintain clear, user-facing product documentation.

Who Are We Looking For?

Essential

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interest in data analysis, software development, or product ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings, documenting discussions, tracking action items, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify and escalate blockers or issues.

Desirable

  • Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including user stories, sprints, and backlog management.
  • Experience using project and task management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
