Driving digital transformation and adoption. This is a multi-site business with operational locations across the UK. Hybrid working is the norm, but travel will be required across the UK. This isn't a pure remote working role.

We are now seeking a Chief Technology & Digital Officer (CTDO) to shape and lead the next phase of our technology and digital evolution.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal, board-level role with dual accountability: ensuring the resilience and performance of a critical technology estate, while accelerating digital transformation across the organisation. You will lead technology not as a support function—but as a core driver of business value, enabling Optima Health to scale, innovate, and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and patients alike.
What You'll Do
- Define and deliver a technology and digital strategy aligned to Optima Health's growth and purpose
- Lead digital transformation across platforms, data, automation and insight
- Oversee core IT operations, ensuring security, resilience and performance at scale
- Drive the evolution of enterprise architecture, cloud environments and data capability
- Champion technology as a business enabler, improving service delivery and decision-making
- Lead complex change and transformation programmes across the organisation
- Build and inspire high-performing technology and digital teams
- Manage strategic vendors, partners and technology investment
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, influencing at the highest level
About You
- You are an experienced technology leader (CTO, CIO, CDIO or equivalent) who brings both operational depth and strategic vision.
- Proven track record of running enterprise IT alongside digital transformation
- Strong expertise across infrastructure, cloud, data, applications and cybersecurity
- Commercially minded, with a clear view of how technology drives business outcomes
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated or data-sensitive environments
- A credible, influential leader who can challenge, align and deliver at executive level
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused, balancing innovation with operational stability
