Hours: Part time, 22.5 hours – Working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Role Summary
Optima Health are one of the largest providers of Occupational Health services in the UK. Our team of Occupational Health Technicians are essential in the delivery of these services. With appropriate support and training in place, you will be responsible for delivering OH services to our client; undertaking health surveillance and health screening, and providing health and lifestyle advice to improve the wellbeing of employees within the organisation. This is a varied role, working onsite with our team in London and hours can be anytime between 8am – 6pm. Due to the client, the role requires security vetting and start date will be subject to vetting clearance.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Following training and assessment, you will undertake agreed clinical activities relevant to Optima Health occupational health services such as health surveillance.
- Assist in undertaking a range of service items e.g., Driver's medicals, Well Person medicals, lung function tests, fitness tests and any other service that may be required.
- Be accountable for delivery, recording and reporting health.
- Ensure the delivery of the highest possible standards of quality assured, evidence‑based practice.
- Work unsupervised at times both in the department and at other premises, delivering high standard OH services to clients allocated to their care.
- Be responsible for cleaning and stock checking clinical areas as per protocols and checklists.
- Help promote the health and wellbeing of employees.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required
- Sports and Exercise Science or a similar field (Desirable)
- Experience with health screening
- Must be happy to undertake high level vetting
- Good interpersonal skills
- IT / PC Skills
