Optima Dermatology is recruiting a pathology or dermatology-trained Dermatopathologist to join a thriving dermatology group in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Founded by a team of board-certified dermatologists and healthcare leaders, Optima Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics is a network of practices dedicated to medical dermatology, Mohs surgery, aesthetics, and clinical research.

With practices throughout Indiana, Ohio, New Hampshire and Maine, we are committed to increasing access to expert dermatology care and delivering an unparalleled patient experience.

A successful candidate will have excellent diagnostic and communication skills and be committed to exceptional service by providing timely, clear, and comprehensive diagnoses, offering clinical-pathologic correlation, and consulting with colleagues and clients.

  • Job Details
  • Position will be evaluating a broad spectrum of office-based dermatopathology specimens.
  • Work closely with dermatologists to provide accurate diagnosis
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Position will practice in a newly built on-site, state-of-the-art histology laboratory, with a comfortable modern office adjacent to the histology laboratory.
  • Dermatopathology only practice. No frozen sections, no on-call, and no weekends/holidays.
  • Competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, licensed to practice medicine in the jurisdiction where the laboratory is located (if required), with certification in Anatomic Pathology or Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology.
  • Completion of an accredited Dermatopathology fellowship.
  • Candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in NH.
