What you’ll be doing:
- This is a standalone HR role where you’ll take ownership of both the operational and strategic elements of HR, with a focus on:
- Compliance & Governance
- Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with employment law changes
- Ensuring compliance and protecting the business from risk
- Embedding governance and consistent HR processes
- Managing day-to-day disciplinary reviews and employee relations cases
- Supporting the development and delivery of a people and culture strategy
- Working closely with senior leadership to improve engagement and retention
- Driving continuous improvement across the HR function
A hands-on role where you’ll be expected to take ownership, make decisions, and build structure where needed.
What you’ll need:
- Experience within a generalist HR role, with exposure to employee relations and policy work
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of HR activity
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence at different levels
You’ll ideally be:
- CIPD Level 4 or 5 qualified
- Ready to step into your first HR Managerial role
