We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive net-new business across the EMEA region. This is a highly outbound, hunter-focused role responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new enterprise accounts.
You will be responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, opening doors within target organizations, and converting opportunities into long-term customers. This role requires a proactive, self-driven seller who thrives on prospecting, creating demand, and winning new logos in a competitive market.
You will own the full sales cycle and partner cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions to complex supply chain challenges.
- Proactively hunt for new business by targeting net-new logos across industries including Retail, Consumer Products, High-Tech, Life Sciences, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, and Energy.
- Build and execute outbound prospecting strategies (cold outreach, networking, events, partnerships) to generate pipeline.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new opportunities, progressing deals from initial outreach through close.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and negotiation.
- Leverage your network and industry expertise to gain access to key decision-makers and accelerate deal cycles.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering and Professional Services to scope engagements and develop proposals and SOWs.
- Establish credibility with senior stakeholders by clearly articulating the value of Supply Chain Design.
- Lead commercial negotiations across SaaS subscriptions and services agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, and Services to drive deals to closure.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
- Represent Optilogic in the market through events, thought leadership, and industry engagement.
- Travel 25–50% across the region for client meetings and key events.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS or technology sales, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
- Proven track record of hunting, building pipeline, and closing net-new logos.
- Experience selling supply chain, analytics, or optimization software is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect effectively and open new accounts through outbound efforts.
- Experience collaborating with services teams to scope and sell implementation engagements and SOWs.
- Familiarity with tools such as Supply Chain Guru (LLamasoft/Coupa), LogicNet+, CAST, CAPS, AnyLogic, Starboard, FICO Xpress, or similar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, high-autonomy environment.
