Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more. Opticore IT are currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects varying in design, implementation and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects with various clients. This opportunity is a hybrid position with the need to visit the client site on occasion, potentially 1 day a week at most. This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.
What you'll be doing:
- An advocate of Opticore, working with our client, who is a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution.
- Working directly with clients, helping them not only achieve their goals but also helping them understand the difference between their wants and needs.
- Activity engaging with the customer during the discovery phase, Design, Implementation and handover.
- Dealing with a variety of issues, ranging from the product itself to internal network issues.
- Become an SME on their product set and the main contact point for the client on the full life cycle of the projects (design & implementation).
- Assisting customers with hardware sizing.
What you'll bring:
- A consultative mindset and approach.
- Proven history of delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
- Confidence and comfortable to push back to clients or internal teams to ensure the overall aim of the project is being adhered to.
- A long-standing history of networking.
