Opticore IT is currently searching for a System Engineering Delivery Lead to drive all programmes within our client's systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team. You'll join our excellent team, based in the London area, on an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35, with scope to extend. Requiring 2 days a week in our client's HQ in the Central London area.
Responsibilities
- Drive all programmes within our systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team.
- Programmes include modernisation initiatives, EOL / EOS remediation and capacity expansions and cloud migrations.
- Drive multiple teams in multiple geographies and ensure projects are delivered to time and on budget.
What you'll bring
- Has strong experience managing systems engineering projects (see above for specific technologies).
- Preferably has come from a technical background in any of the above technologies.
- Has strong experience driving teams across multiple geographies with resources with competing priorities.
- Is able to communicate and manage risks effectively.
