Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more. We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our Network Practice within one of our Hospitality clients. This is a hybrid position but you will be required to attend the office up to 2 days a week, based in the London office with occasional travel to Dunstable. This is a great opportunity for a Network Engineer to work across a large enterprise Hospitality client delivering projects across their Network Infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Exciting opportunity to manage a large scale Aruba based Network
- Manage multiple 3rd parties for migration activities
- Raise, implement and manage multiple changes
- Liase with client internal networks teams and key stakeholders
- Work mitigation workstreams for post deployment remediations
- Work on other workstreams throughout a widespread programme
What you'll bring:
- Experience handling change and incident management
- Strong experience with switching (VLAN, .1x, switching technologies)
- Some understanding of Wireless
- Strong experience with Routing
