Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors, including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more. Opticore IT are currently searching for a Technical Account Manager with a history of delivering infrastructure projects on time and under budget to join the team. You'll join our Sales team, based in London area.
You’ll be joining our Account Management team, overseeing growth and delivery across multiple Enterprise accounts, while ensuring strong commercial performance and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and grow business opportunities across multiple verticals, including Finance, Insurance, Media and Telco.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships across key enterprise clients.
- Lead bid and proposal development in collaboration with clients and internal pre-sales teams.
- Manage contractual negotiations across managed services, fixed price and time & materials engagements.
- Oversee pipeline forecasting and ensure quarterly and annual revenue targets are achieved.
- Provide leadership and direction to delivery, support and senior personnel across the business.
- Manage escalations across the lifecycle from contract through to delivery and invoicing.
- Ensure accurate reporting and financial tracking for senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive collaboration between delivery teams, finance, operations and practice leadership.
- Support client-facing engagements across London and the M3/M4 corridor.
- Account growth planning, east to west.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in an Account/Practice Manager position for a consultancy.
- Clear understanding of account development plans and enterprise-level consultative sales.
- Experience managing bids, proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of networking technologies, data centre, telecoms and project management environments, with experience working in consultancy or IT services businesses.
- Strong stakeholder management across enterprise clients.
