Your Role

As our Super Optometrist, you'll:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and health assessments
  • Digitally document findings
  • Prescribe and recommend spectacles
  • Detect and manage eye conditions, provide referrals
  • Provide personalised eye care advice to patients and families when required
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service

What We're Looking For

  • A values and service driven GOC-registered Optometrist with a full UK driving licence.
  • Strong clinical skills in eye examination, diagnosis, and management of ocular conditions.
  • Compassionate communicator, able to engage sensitively with elderly residents, including those living with dementia.
  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and best practice.
  • Previous experience in domiciliary essential.
  • Interest in clinical leadership, mentoring, or service innovation.
  • Experience with digital patient record systems.
