A successful sub contract Precision Engineering company are looking for an experienced CNC Mill / Turn Programmer, Setter to join their team. The company are market leaders within their field supplying the automotive, oil & gas and aerospace industries.
The Role of a CNC Mill / Turn Programmer
As a successful CNC Mill / Turn programmer Setter you will be required to Program, Set and Operate twin spindle twin turret Mill / Turn machines. Full training will be provided on the company's brand new machine by DMG Mori.
Duties of a CNC Mill / Turn Programmer
- Programming, setting and running primarily a DMG Mori NZX2000 and possibly CMX TD30 and Traub TNC65.
- Adjusting existing programmes.
- Programming of new jobs.
- Maintaining a level of self-inspection throughout a batch.
- Working within a team on the section.
Requirements of a CNC Mill / Turn Programmer
- Previous experience of Setting, Operating and Programming on twin spindle twin turret Mill/Turn machines.
- Experience using Fanuc or Siemens or Mazatrol controls.
- Working with DMG Mori, CMZ or Traub or Integrex machines would be beneficial but not essential.
- Offline programming experience.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday - 08:00am - 18:00pm, 39 hours. Regular overtime at 1.5x Pay and Benefits up to £50,000 Per Annum.
