JOB PURPOSE - Quality Inspector
We specialise in the supply of precision machined components in to a variety of high value sectors including Medical, Motorsports, Oil, Gas, Defence and Aerospace. We currently have a requirement for a Quality Inspector to join our team, in a modern well equipped Inspection department, and help the business grow further.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED - Quality Inspector
- Must have experience of working in a similar position, ideally within an Aerospace component, manufacturing environment.
- Verifying precision toleranced machined components, having familiarity to AS9100 standard.
- Experience of using general associated calibrated measuring equipment (ie: Micrometers, Verniers, shadowgraph, etc.)
- Experience of CMM Inspection would be ideal, however training would be given.
- Basic PC skills (working knowledge of Microsoft word / excel).
- Experience of accurately detailing FAIR reports, to include AS9102 (Aerospace standard).
- Experience in liaising, both with customer QEs, in managing any NCR / CAPA activity through to Close out, along with similar activity regarding arising Supply Chain issues.
- Experience in developing, amending processes / procedures, as necessary to comply with AS9100 standard.
- Experience in conducting both internal audits, managing external audits, to satisfy relevant accreditation body, specific customer, audit.

- Strong team player that is performance orientated, together with having a flexible approach, in meeting the needs, of a modern, fast moving production facility.
- An excellent communicator, articulate and well presented.
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
