SUMMARY OF ROLE

To undertake production of finished machined parts.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program, Set and Run CNC Lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc Controls
  • Mazak Quickturns
  • Mazak Nexus
  • Mazak Fusions
  • Use measuring equipment including running CMM programs to check components against drawing
  • Adjust cutter offsets to meet tolerances
  • Follow route card and make sure that quality standards are followed

  • Able to Program, Set and Run CNC Machines
  • Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
