SUMMARY OF ROLE
To undertake production of finished machined parts.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program, Set and Run CNC Lathes using Mazatrol or Fanuc Controls
- Mazak Quickturns
- Mazak Nexus
- Mazak Fusions
- Use measuring equipment including running CMM programs to check components against drawing
- Adjust cutter offsets to meet tolerances
- Follow route card and make sure that quality standards are followed
