The Role - CNC Miller

We are looking for a professional CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter or Setter, Operator to work alongside an experienced team, manufacturing high precision components

The role will be to set and operate a variety of 3 and 4 axis machining centres (Matsuura & Doosans) manufacturing a range of one off and small batch components.

Skills / Experience of a CNC Miller

The ideal candidate will possess most or all the following skills

  • Setting and program prove out of Heidenhain or Fanuc controlled 3 & 4 axis machining centres (Matsuura or Doosans).
  • Basic editing or writing of CNC programs.
  • Good understanding of cutting technology, speeds and feeds etc.
  • Experience cutting a diverse range of materials.
  • Read and understand technical drawings
  • Work under own initiative and possess good problem-solving ideas.
  • Use of basic measuring equipment and working to fine limits.
  • Good health and safety awareness.
  • The Package - CNC Miller

On offer is a generous negotiable package with some of the highest rates of pay in the area, subject to experience - £19.00 - £20.00 Per Hour.

We also offer 25 days + 8 statutory days holiday per year and pension scheme.

Hours 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 – 13:00 Fridays.

Overtime is paid at time and one third mid-week, time and one-half Saturday and double time Sunday.

There is also a time keeping bonus
