The Company - Universal Grinder / Surface Grinder A market leading engineering company are looking for a time served Universal / Surfae Grinder to join their expanding team.

The company manufacture bespoke precision products to various industries across the globe.

The company are offering an excellent opportunity for the right engineer to work for a company with a great reputation.

Time served Manual Cylindrical and Universal Grinder.

Apprentice trained would be advantageous.

Experience of setting and operating Manual Jones & Shipman Uni/Surface-grinders.

Be experienced in the tool selection, setting, and proving of operations following or instigating SOP instructions.

Be able to dress and rad form wheels.

Able to read and interpret from process or complex engineering drawings.

Meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality.

Have worked with a variety of materials.

Good problem-solving ability.

A high degree of understanding of fine tolerances (0.0002/0.004mm), finishes(4micro/.1mm), compounded angles(15secs/.25deg).

Manufacturing / Toolmaking background. j Be able to communicate well and be part of a team.

Good understanding of associated inspection techniques / methods required to ensure component conformity.
