CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, and operate, CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5-axis).
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data.
- Select and fit appropriate tooling, materials, and fixtures.
- Perform in-process quality checks and adjust programs as needed.
- Maintain machinery and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - About You:
- Minimum 3β5 years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
- Proficient in setting and operating.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances in low- or medium-batch production.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Edgecam).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
- Previous experience in precision engineering sectors.
