Job Description
Plant & Facility Maintenance Manager

Optical Filters are leaders in the design and manufacture of display screen products including EMI-shielded windows, optical laminating, display filters and other specialist glass and polycarbonate screens.

The successful candidate will be looking for an immediate start, initially on a fixed-term contract and with the possibility of a full-time role for the right candidate.

The Role:

- Ensure PPM is carried out in accordance with PPM schedule and maintain records.
- Repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Management of subcon R&M contractors and ensuring that regular servicing by R&M contractors is carried out on schedule (e.g. gas systems, compressed air system, air con).
- Project management of:

The Candidate:

- Significant experience in Plant & Facility Management with a commitment to preventative maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills to enable effective collaboration with our production team and outside suppliers of parts and specialized services.
- Strong electrical skills to maintain the base electrical systems within the building.
- High level electro-mechanical skills to trouble shoot control problems with a range of CNC equipment and other computer/plc controlled equipment.
- The ability to maintain plant service records and write concise and clear management reports.
- A strong motivation to minimize process downtime.
- Calm and cool under pressure. Good problem solving/root cause analysis skills.
