  • Create polished, high-fidelity UI designs aligned with Optical Express brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Optimise designs for accessibility, performance, and conversion (CRO).
  • Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices to continually evolve our digital presence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating strong design thinking and execution.
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design/prototyping tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Ability to translate research insights and business goals into clear design strategies.
  • Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail, typography, and layout.
  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how design decisions impact development.
  • Experience working collaboratively with developers, marketers, and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Understanding of SEO and how design affects on-page performance.
  • Experience in healthcare, eCommerce, or service-based industries.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.

What’s in it for you?

  • Industry-leading salary
  • State-of-the-art, modern working environment
  • 29 days annual leave
  • Free Laser Eye Surgery and Intraocular Lens Surgery
  • Free eye tests
