Location – Glasgow City Centre

Salary – £55,000 DoE

Hours – 40 Hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Telemedicine Optometrist to provide care to patients from our flagship clinic in Glasgow City Centre. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to our patients.

Your role will be varied and can include:

  • Communicating with and treating patients via telemedicine.
  • Reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.
  • Providing clinical support to the hub administrative team where required.
  • Working alongside the operations and clinical leads to identify areas for improvements in service delivery.
