We are seeking experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists with subspecialist expertise in Glaucoma, Oculoplastics and vitreo-retinal surgery, alongside strong experience in cataract and refractive lens replacement surgery. You will join a progressive, patient-focused ophthalmology service delivering a comprehensive cross-section of medical, surgical and refractive eye care, supported by state-of-the-art diagnostics, modern theatres, and a multidisciplinary clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who value clinical autonomy, high-quality outcomes, and innovation in lens-based vision correction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultant-level care within your subspeciality
- Perform high-volume cataract surgery, including premium and presbyopia-correcting IOL lens replacement
- Assess and manage patients across a broad ophthalmic pathway, from diagnostic to post-operative care
- Contribute to refractive and lifestyle vision solutions, including lens-based presbyopia management
- Work collaboratively with optometrists, orthoptists, nurses and wider surgery team
- Maintain high clinical governance, audit, and patient satisfaction standards
