Position Summary

As a Divisional Clinical Services Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance for a group of clinics located in the South East of England.

This is a mobile role that involves significant travel, working closely with clinical teams specialising in cataract and refractive surgery, Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and clinical leadership to clinic teams, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Education: Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff to ensure continuous professional development, in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency within the clinics.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as CQC, GOC, and ISO requirements.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing constructive feedback and driving continuous improvement.
  • Patient Experience: Collaborate with the clinical teams to optimise the patient experience, maintaining the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with clinic managers and central services to allocate resources effectively, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication with colleagues, internal departments, and external stakeholders to drive excellence in clinical services.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience in leadership and management in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of cataract and refractive surgery procedures and/or cosmetics and aesthetics.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
