We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our busy Payroll Team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple companies and employee groups.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of accuracy and customer service.

  • Processing monthly payrolls from start to finish.
  • Calculating statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP.
  • Administering pension schemes and pension submissions.
  • Reviewing and validating payroll data including timesheets, overtime and absence records.
  • Producing payroll reports and supporting month-end activities.
  • Responding to employee and manager payroll queries.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and company policies.
  • Assisting with year-end payroll activities including P60s and other statutory requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects within the payroll function.

Requirements:

  • Have previous payroll administration experience.
  • Have a good understanding of UK payroll legislation.
  • Be confident working with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience processing multi-company payrolls.
  • Knowledge of salary sacrifice arrangements and pensions administration.
  • Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment.
