About the Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with the CFO and Finance Manager to support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including preparing reconciliations and assisting with P&L reviews to ensure accuracy and insight. You’ll review, verify and process employee expense claims in line with company policies. You’ll also prepare and calculate royalty statements, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Beyond day‑to‑day responsibilities, you’ll contribute to a range of ad hoc projects from financial analysis and reporting to supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles. You’ll help prepare data for audits and external reporting requirements, while also playing a part in improving processes and driving efficiencies across the finance function.
About you
You’ll have 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, with strong Excel skills and confidence using accounting systems. You have a solid understanding of core accounting principles and governance, and you take pride in producing accurate, high‑quality work. Highly organised and detail‑oriented, you’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. You communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders, and you handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
