We are now looking for an
experienced Internal Sales / Customer Service professional
to join our small, friendly team within our busy sales office. Full product and systems training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional, timely manner.
- Provide product and first-tier technical support (training provided).
- Manage and maintain customer accounts.
- Prepare quotations and advise customers on stock availability.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out general office and administrative duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous
internal sales or customer service experience
within an industrial or B2B environment. - Excellent
verbal, written, and numerical skills
. - Strong
problem-solving abilities
and a proactive approach to customer care. - Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, Outlook). - GCSE / O-Level grade C (grade 4) or above in Maths and English.
Beneficial but not essential:
- Level 3 / HNC or equivalent qualification in a technical or engineering subject.
- Experience with
SAP
systems.
