The Role
The Talent Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to operational and clinical leaders in the business, delivering proactive talent solutions that support workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and employee development across the organisation. This role plays a key part in shaping a high-performing and compliant workforce by aligning talent strategy with organisational priorities, improving hiring outcomes, enhancing employee experience, and supporting leadership capability. The Talent Business Partner also provides expert guidance on workforce challenges, labour market trends, and talent risk, while driving continuous improvement across recruitment processes, onboarding, succession planning, and employer branding—ensuring the organisation can respond to evolving demands in a highly regulated and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a subject matter expert in leveraging LinkedIn, Social media, cold calling and other headhunting techniques to identify and attract suitable talent
- Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future recruitment needs
- Build strong and effective relationships with hiring managers to support effective workforce planning and people decisions
- Coach and develop hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process and promote healthy hiring decisions
- Review and update job descriptions, recruitment policy and procedures
- Source and headhunt suitable candidates through various job boards, social media platforms and professional networks
- Plan and organise interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Provide feedback to all candidates, both successful and unsuccessful
- Manage the offer process, including drafting employment offer letters
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Actively participate in different employer branding initiatives
- Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Performance against monthly KPIs and targets
- Build strong pipeline with past applicants and potential candidates
- Ability to lead and manage third party supplier relationships
Requirements
- Proven work experience as Talent Business Partner, recruitment manager or similar role
- Very strong market research capabilities and ability to present data to senior managers and leaders in the business
- Demonstrated results executing recruiting strategy, including employer branding, candidate management and diversity sourcing
- Proven experience of direct sourcing and headhunting clinical candidates
- Proven stakeholder management experience
- Hands‑on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
