Base Pay Range
Optegra Eye Health Care offers an exciting new part‑time role for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator in Birmingham. Your pay will be based on your skills and experience, and will be reviewed annually.

The Role
You will be part of a multi‑disciplined team contributing to the activity of the Patient Services Team. Responsibilities include covering the main hospital reception, serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors both in person and over the telephone, greeting patients and visitors at reception in a professional manner, supporting the Patient Services Team by assisting with patient queries before, and following consultation, billing, and general administration support.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a front‑of‑house/face‑to‑face customer service role
- Experience of customer billing/accounts
- Private Healthcare experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well‑organised, able to prioritise and cope well with pressure
- Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to act as a resource for colleagues & staff
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
