Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for a NHS Patient Services Advisor, to join our amazing and supportive team in Manchester Eye Hospital. Please note the role is hybrid 4 days in the offfice and 1 day working from home, please note 4 weeks of induction/training will be conducted at the Office.

The Role
As part of a team leading the delivery of our NHS Patient services Team, deliver virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment along with administrative duties, including booking appointments and taking phone calls. Lead the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.
What You’ll Need
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector
- Commercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical care
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
- Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
- Highly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
- Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other systems/databases
- Experience of building and maintaining exceptional relationships with colleagues and customers
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
