Optegra has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Account Development Manager with excellent customer management skills to join our amazing and dynamic sales team in Birmingham. This role is promoting the exceptional services of Optegra Eye Healthcare to Optometrists in the local community. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and benefit from our fantastic fully funded training and development programs. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Role
You will lead the development of a large referral base of patients through high street opticians, promoting Optegra’s cataract services, excellent patient benefits, referral pathways and five-star hospitals. As the first point of contact for both existing and prospective referrers, you will be responsible for growing your referral base by building strong and robust customer relationships.
What You’ll Need
- You will be proactive, enjoy meeting new people, and confident amongst senior and professional members of the ophthalmic community.
- You’ll be self-motivated, managing your own diary, meetings and route planning.
- You will of course work in close partnership with colleagues at your Hospital, developing internal relationships and making the most of every opportunity to build our business.
- Have demonstrable sales experience and achievements, preferably in a territory sales role
- Have proven track record of building customer relationships and stakeholder management
- Be a natural strong relationship builder
- Be driven, high energy and a drive to be successful
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Be able to effectively manage own workload
- Have a full, clean driving license
- Be able to use Microsoft Office applications
