As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our friendly and hard-working team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, site-based role working across a variety of domestic, commercial and specialist electrical projects. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently as well as alongside other engineers and trades, delivering installations to a high standard of workmanship, safety and professionalism. You will be required to travel to various project locations, primarily across the Southeast / home counties and should be comfortable with early starts and physically active work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and remedial works across domestic and commercial projects
  • Interpret drawings, specifications and technical information to complete works accurately
  • Install containment systems, wiring accessories, distribution equipment and final circuits
  • Conduct testing, fault-finding and commissioning activities where required
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and company standards
  • Work closely with project managers, office staff and onsite teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Communicate professionally with customers, clients and other trades onsite
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimise delays and maintain quality
  • Maintain accurate records, photographs and job information where required
  • Take responsibility for the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of company vehicles, tools and work areas
  • Support and mentor junior team members and electrical improvers where appropriate
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices at all times

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • AM2 qualification
  • ECS Gold Card preferred
  • Experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Westcott Venture Park (30 minutes of HP18 0XB)
