We are looking for a motivated, organised and proactive Employment Coach to join our high-performing team on a part-time basis. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals covered under the Equality Act 2010, including unpaid carers, to access meaningful, sustainable employment opportunities. As an Employment Coach, you will play a key role in promoting inclusion, removing barriers to employment and empowering individuals to achieve their goals. This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference, using your professionalism, adaptability and creativity to transform lives and strengthen communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clients to identify their strengths, skills, interests and career aspirations.
- Develop personalised employment plans and support clients to secure and sustain suitable employment.
- Provide practical support, including CV development, interview preparation, travel training and confidence-building activities.
- Deliver on-the-job coaching and workplace training, enabling clients to develop skills and achieve greater independence in their roles.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local and national employers to create employment opportunities for clients.
- Promote inclusive employment practices and advocate for workplace adjustments where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to achieving service outcomes and targets.
- Is professional, empathetic and highly organised.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can build trust and rapport with a diverse range of clients and employers.
- Is committed to promoting equality, inclusion and opportunity.
- Is motivated to make a meaningful and lasting impact on people’s lives.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has daily access to a vehicle.
