A full time (term time only) Teaching Assistant is required from September 2026 at Alexander First School, a small, inclusive school for children aged 3 - 9 years, graded Good by OFSTED. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support pupils with varied needs such as communication and language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils in class, individually or in small groups.
- Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom organisation.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
