Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis is owned and funded by the 2 Councils. Optalis is not a private provider or an employment agency.
Qualified Nurse DAYS & NIGHTS - £55,648.05 (£24.25 per hour) RG7 3BH, Burghfield Common - Full time 44 hours weekly
Recruiting now for our Nursing Home - Hollies Care Home near Reading lies at the heart of the picturesque village of Burghfield Common, set within a charming mansion house. Enjoys close links with many community organisations including the local church, St Marys. (Accessible by Car and Number 2 Bus from Reading Town Centre)
Our dedicated team provide residential and nursing care to older people living with dementia, and nursing care for people aged 65 and over who are living with long term health conditions.
This home has recently become an Optalis family member, and we are looking to recruit an additional qualified nurse to join the home.
Responsibilities will include
Ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are being delivered at all times by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of the care plans
Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
Committing to acting in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining registration requirements
A team player to supplement the staffing team, motivated and approachable to all levels of care staff
You will need to have worked as a RGN for a minimum of 2 years in a nursing home.
