Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis is owned and funded by the 2 Councils. Optalis is not a private provider or an employment agency.
Recruiting now for our Nursing Home in Wokingham. This home provides personal and nursing care for up to 58 customers located in a lovely rural location close to Wokingham Town Centre. The service provides support to older people and younger adults. Specialisms also include treatment of disease, disorder, injury and dementia.
This home has recently become an Optalis family member, and we are looking to secure qualified nursing individuals to join us in our journey to achieving a good CQC standard status asap.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are being delivered at all times by undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of the care plans.
- Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Committing to acting in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining registration requirements.
- A team player to supplement the staffing team, motivated and approachable to all levels of care staff.
- This role could also be secured with part-time hours to suit an individual’s availability.
