Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis is owned and funded by the 2 Councils. Optalis is not a private provider or an employment agency.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Interim Financial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to support a focused project aimed at reviewing and streamlining our invoicing processes, income allocation, financial reporting, and income and expenditure tracking.
The successful candidate will play a key part in improving financial accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and supporting the wider finance function to produce robust, transparent data.
The role will involve face-to-face interaction with various individuals and teams throughout the company, and potentially with wider stakeholders, and will be primarily office based in Wokingham but with travel to other sites in the Wokingham and Windsor/Maidenhead areas as required.
This role requires a recognised professional accounting qualification with proven experience held in a similar role. Social care or local authority finance experience would be an asset.
You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for business use or otherwise be able to visit locations within the Wokingham Borough Council and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead areas.
