About the Role
Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. We are looking to recruit an additional qualified registered nurse to join the care home in Burghfield Common.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of person‑centred care are delivered at all times through accurate assessment, planning, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care plans.
- Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
- Act in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain registration requirements.
- Work as a team player to supplement the staffing team, motivated and approachable to all levels of care staff.
Qualifications
- Qualified registered nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
- Required DBS clearance: Enhanced with Adult Barred list.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
Salary and Hours
- Full time contract: 44 hours per week.
- Annual salary: £57,930.87 (equivalent to £25.25 per hour).
