About the Role

Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. We are looking to recruit an additional qualified registered nurse to join the care home in Burghfield Common.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standards of person‑centred care are delivered at all times through accurate assessment, planning, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care plans.
  • Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Act in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain registration requirements.
  • Work as a team player to supplement the staffing team, motivated and approachable to all levels of care staff.

Qualifications

  • Qualified registered nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
  • Required DBS clearance: Enhanced with Adult Barred list.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.

Salary and Hours

  • Full time contract: 44 hours per week.
  • Annual salary: £57,930.87 (equivalent to £25.25 per hour).
