Director of Nursing in Wokingham

Main duties of the job

Lead a team to deliver high‑quality, relationship‑centered care and services for all residents, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and alignment with Optalis policies, vision and values while achieving business targets.

Manage multi‑site and geographically spread teams, driving organisational change and process improvements.

Build operational relationships, support the overall Optalis strategy, and champion best‑value services that fulfil the potential of customers, colleagues and communities.

Provide clinical leadership, professional guidance, strategic development and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Person Specification

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Significant senior leadership experience in healthcare or social care.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, regulatory frameworks, risk management and quality improvement.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking and change‑management skills.
• Proven track record of clinical service delivery and organisational change programmes.
