Opsynta is growing, and I’m looking for a highly experienced recruitment professional with an established track record within the UK sports industry to play an important role in the next stage of the business. This isn’t about simply filling vacancies. I’m looking for someone who understands sport, recruitment and commercial relationships — someone who knows how to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and can help establish Opsynta as a leading recruitment partner to the sports industry.

About Opsynta

Opsynta is a specialist recruitment business focused on off-field talent across professional sport. We work across areas including:

  • Executive & Leadership
  • Commercial & Partnerships
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Operations
  • Finance
  • Technology & Data
  • Performance & Analysis
  • Events & Fan Engagement

Our focus spans football, Formula 1 and motorsport, rugby, cricket, tennis, golf and the wider sports industry.

Who I'm looking for

You’ll ideally have:

  • Significant experience within sports recruitment or executive search
  • An established network across UK sport
  • Existing relationships with clubs, teams, governing bodies, rights holders and other sporting organisations
  • Experience recruiting off-field professionals from specialist and management positions through to senior leadership
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills
  • The confidence to engage with CEOs, Commercial Directors, HR/Talent leaders and other senior decision-makers
  • A strong understanding of the challenges involved in recruiting specialist talent into sport
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in helping build and shape a growing business

The opportunity

This is deliberately not being positioned as a conventional recruitment consultant vacancy. For the right person, I’m open to discussing the structure that makes the most sense — whether that's joining Opsynta in a senior recruitment capacity or potentially taking on a broader role as the business grows. You would have the opportunity to influence our client strategy, recruitment proposition, market development and long-term growth rather than simply inherit a desk and a billing target. If you've built a successful career within sports recruitment and feel ready for something where you can have a much greater impact, I'd particularly like to hear from you.

Interested?

If this sounds like you — or you know someone I should be speaking with — please contact me directly for a confidential conversation.
