Essential Functions Performed by the Position:
- Maintains and continuously improves upon operational performance, standards of quality, housekeeping and health and safety.
- Understands and follows the production schedule to ensure jobs are produced in the required sequence.
- Ensures the quality of all work produced that is being sent to either the next process or the final customer.
- Participates in training to maintain and improve the range of skills and knowledge required to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
- Ensures the health and safety of people within the area covered by the job holder by ensuring that safe and healthy practices are followed and that all aspects of company, site and legal occupational health and safety requirements are met.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in Math, English and one science subject.
- Experience: Three years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is essential. Experience of making label and foil type products using a wide variety of machinery including print, emboss, die‑cutting and slitting to extremely tight tolerances and very demanding quality standards.
