We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join our Children’s & Joint Commissioning Services team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative functions across the department, supporting officers and social workers in delivering vital services.

Key Responsibilities As Business Support Officer:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including managing calls, booking rooms, and preparing meeting spaces
- Maintain efficient admin systems, including post handling, scanning, and document management
- Input and maintain data across internal systems (training provided)
- Organise meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for staff and young people
- Deliver a professional reception service, dealing with enquiries from the public and professionals
- Produce documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office
- Take accurate minutes at meetings and distribute to relevant stakeholders
- Support financial processes such as purchase orders, invoices, and petty cash
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and archiving processes
