The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Our core Warehouse hours are 06.00 β 20.00pm.
- This role will require drivers to have a flexible approach to start time depending on daily workload.
- Weekly hours within the parameters of the legal driving hours & working time directive.
- This role requires each driver to engage in physical activity including using the vehicle equipment, strapping, movement in/around the vehicle, tail lift, use of side curtains.
Main Duties:
- Driving for purpose of collecting and delivering freight.
- Groupage / Multi Drop / Pickup.
- Tail lift deliveries and collections.
- Manual handling when needed (kerbside).
- Ensure all loads are checked for discrepancies (damage/shortages etc) and are safely loaded and secured on the vehicle.
- Daily maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Ensuring that all records pertaining to the role (Tachoβs, Time sheets, Trip sheets, Receipts etc) are kept in an orderly fashion & handed in in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Geographical coverage is all areas of London (accessible for HGVs) and the Southeast.
