Property Claims Account Handler Are you an experienced insurance or claims professional looking to develop your career within the real estate and commercial property sector? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Claims Account Handler to join a growing specialist claims team. This role offers the chance to work with UK and European property portfolios, managing claims from initial notification through to settlement while building strong relationships with clients, brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders. The Role Reporting to the Account Manager, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of property and liability claims, ensuring they are managed efficiently, professionally and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities * Investigate, negotiate and agree claim settlements in a professional and timely manner. * Manage a portfolio of property and liability claims from instruction through to conclusion. * Liaise with policyholders, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders to drive claims to resolution. * Work with clients and contacts across both the UK and Europe. * Produce accurate reports in line with professional standards and agreed service levels. * Ensure time recording and billing processes are completed accurately and in accordance with internal procedures. * Raise invoices accurately and within required timescales. * Work closely with technical claims and adjusting teams where appropriate. * Attend client review meetings and provide updates on claim activity. * Maintain accurate claim records and documentation throughout the lifecycle of each case. About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within: * Real estate insurance * Commercial property claims * Loss adjusting * Property and liability claims handling * Broking or wider insurance environments You will also demonstrate: * Strong negotiation and decision-making skills. * Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. * The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * A proactive and professional approach to stakeholder management. * Sound problem-solving capabilities and commercial awareness. Professional qualifications or progress towards an industry-recognised qualification would be advantageous but are not essential.
