OPR are recruiting on behalf of a Surrey-based carpentry and joinery specialist that delivers high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the South of England. Established in 2016, the company provides a comprehensive range of services, including bespoke joinery, full internal fit-outs, complex roofing works, and certified fire-door installation through BM TRADA accreditation. They are widely recognized for their skilled workforce, exceptional craftsmanship, and proven ability to deliver intricate, one-off projects. Supported by a strong supply chain and a partnership with a specialist workshop in Ireland, they are able to produce and finish premium custom joinery to an outstanding standard.
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a full-time, on-site position in West Byfleet. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing budgets, managing costs, and handling Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Duties include conducting cost planning and cost control throughout project lifecycles, preparing detailed cost reports, and working collaboratively with other project stakeholders to ensure efficient allocation and management of project resources. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and deliver projects within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management, ensuring efficient financial oversight and budget adherence
- Knowledge of preparing and working with Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects
- Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support project management and financial decision-making
