3rd Line Infrastructure & Support EngineerLocation: Camberley (Office-based)Job Type: PermanentSalary: £35,000 - £42,000 + Excellent BenefitsJoin a growing technical team where your expertise makes a real impactWe're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure & Support Engineer to join a successful Managed Services Provider supporting a broad range of enterprise customers across the UK.This is a senior technical role suited to an experienced infrastructure engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with cloud technologies and leading the resolution of high-priority incidents.You'll work with modern Microsoft infrastructure, virtualisation and networking technologies while contributing to technical improvements, automation and customer projects.Your responsibilities will include:Resolve complex infrastructure and cloud-related technical issues.Act as the highest internal escalation point for technical support.Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent solutions.Design, implement and support Microsoft server, cloud and virtualisation environments.Plan and deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technical changes.Maintain and improve system security, resilience and performance.Support disaster recovery planning and backup solutions.Develop automation using PowerShell and other scripting tools.Produce high-quality technical documentation and knowledge articles.Mentor and support 1st and 2nd Line Engineers.Work closely with vendors and internal technical teams on major incidents and projects.About you - You'll ideally have:You'll be an experienced Infrastructure or Senior Support Engineer with a broad technical background gained within an MSP or complex enterprise environment.Windows Server administrationMicrosoft Azure and Microsoft 365VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisationActive Directory, Group Policy and identity managementNetworking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switching and firewallsMicrosoft SQL Server or other database platformsPowerShell scripting and automationBackup, disaster recovery and business continuityInfrastructure security and best practiceStrong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skillsBenefits include:Generous annual leaveBirthday day offCompany pension with employer contributionPrivate health and dental supportEmployee Assistance ProgrammeLife assuranceEmployee discounts platformCycle to Work schemeTeam incentives and recognition programmesPaid volunteering dayComplimentary refreshments when in the officeDiscounted home broadband (where available)Thank you for taking the time to apply to OPR Resourcing Specialists.
