- Popular flea and botanical markets, attracting more than 3,000 visitors each month
- Vibrant Christmas lighting schemes
- A transformative urban greening programme enhancing the public realm
We are now seeking a Ballot Campaign Support Consultant to play a key role in communicating these successes and securing support from members for a second BID term.
The Ballot Campaign Support Consultant will be central to our ballot campaign, working directly with BID members to build awareness, strengthen relationships, and encourage positive engagement ahead of the November 2026 vote. This is a highly outward-facing role, predominantly based in Kensington, requiring regular in-person engagement with local businesses, alongside some online meetings and flexible working where appropriate.

- Maintain accurate records of engagement and feedback from members using CRM systems
- Gather insights from businesses to inform messaging and future priorities
- Assist with organising engagement events, briefings, and networking opportunities
- Support communications activity, including creating timely LinkedIn posts that showcase BID activities, successes, and events, responding quickly to developments across the district
- Work closely with the BID team to ensure consistent and compelling messaging
Person Specification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience in a customer-facing, engagement, or stakeholder relations role
- Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a proactive, outreach-focused role
- Ability to clearly present information and articulate value propositions
- Experience working in or with Business Improvement Districts, membership organisations, or place-based initiatives
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience creating or managing LinkedIn or social media content
- Understanding of urban development, economic development, or local business communities
