Here is some exciting news: the applications are open for the Reuters Institute Fellowship Programme 2026-27. A prestigious short-term fellowship hosted by the Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford offers an incredible opportunity for practicing and mid-career journalists from around the world to participate and explore Journalism in depth at the University of Oxford.

The duration of the fellowship program is 3-6 months, and will commence in either January or April 2026. It’s an in-person fellowship; selected participants are expected to be at the University of Oxford for the entire duration. The Journalist fellowship programme offers generous support to participants. The coverage includes a competitive stipend to cover living and travel-related costs. The fellowship offers working journalists hands-on learning in Journalism through personal research, seminars, discussions, and networking.
