A Java Developer with experience in the financial services sector is required for an initial 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site in Northampton and is inside IR35, requiring working via an FCSA-accredited umbrella company.
Key Skills And Experience
- Financial services experience
- Build solutions for the Distributed computing platform MOTIF using Advanced Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, BPM, JMS, and in-memory computing
- Work in an Agile development model to deliver features steadily
- Collaborate with geographically distributed global teams for communication on critical features and issues
- Coordinate with leads and QA teams on UAT builds and sign-offs for business use cases
- Develop unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube to enhance code quality
- Manage CI/CD pipelines in TeamCity and resolve build issues
- Develop UNIX and database scripts as needed during feature development
- Participate in project and scrum calls to ensure timely delivery and issue escalation
- Partner with PCIT and IB Design Authority on technical topics and incorporate them into deliverables
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentor junior team members
